The Association of Credit Management Malaysia (ACMM) was established under the Societies Act 1966 in November 1983. The ACMM is a professional organisation for persons engaged in all facets of Credit & Finance portfolio whether they are just beginning in their career or already holding a senior credit management position.

The main objective of the ACMM is to raise professional standards in Credit Management all over the country and to increase the awareness of the importance of the Credit function with a vital role in improving marketing, profitability cash flow and legal process.

The members of ACMM are drawn from both local and multinational companies and are from various fields:- Credit, Legal, Commercial, Accounting, and other professions. Our primary objective is to play our role as Professionals in the field of Credit Management. The main objectives of the Assocation includes:-

Developing networking among members and those engaged in Credit Management.
Promote and upgrade the Standards of Credit Management in the Country.
Conducting courses, seminars and tea-talks thereby keeping members abreast with developments related to their jobs as well as to upgrade their knowledge on Credit and Receivables Management.
To represent the business community in similar matters relating to government policy and legislation.


The ACMM is strongly of the opinion that there is a need to create more professionalism in the credit function. The Credit Manager/Credit Executive is today a major player in the organisation's business activity, cash flow management and control. It is through the Association and its membership that standards of professionalism can be improved and recognized.
